| President's Message |
It is a privilege and honor to represent you as the President of this component for 2010 -2011.
This is a very exciting time for California hygienists. After years of hard work by CDHA,
the Dental Hygiene Committee of California (DHCC) has been created under the Department of Consumer Affairs. The responsibilities of DHCC include issuing, reviewing, and revoking licenses as well as developing and administering examinations. Additional functions include adopting regulations, determining fees and continuing education requirements for all hygiene licensure categories.
I am proud to be your president working for your interests as members of your professional organization. We welcome your participation and encourage your membership to keep our organization thriving.
