| President's Message |
| Hello Ventura County,
I'm Stephanie D'Ornellas, your new President for the
year 2005-2006. We have our website up & running.
Susie Bradley has done some fancy footwork, so we are
on our way. This means a paperless newsletter, which
is great for our pocketbook and "wo"-man power,
but also our environment. It will be important to get
everyone's e-mail addresses, so that we can facilitate
having everyone well informed. A hard copy can be provided
for those without computer access, by request only.
We'd like to share our view of a "grass roots"
outreach. Ventura County is big, so we would like to
reach those hygienists who live in the more rural areas
of this county. We would like to facilitate home study
CEs in addition to the bigger CEs we provide throughout
the year. We would also like to mentor the students
of our local dental hygiene school.
I look forward to this year with a fantastic hard working
board to help guide me.
