Program Description: B.S. in Dental Hygiene offered entirely online and is designed to guide students in developing the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values necessary for positions of responsibility in a variety of healthcare, educational, research and community settings.  This 18-month BSDH curriculum is offered in two tracks which will enable the graduate to enter the fields of dental hygiene education or public/community dental health services.

Program Description: The Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene online program makes it possible for dental hygienists with an associate's degree to return to school and earn a bachelor's degree as they continue practicing their profession in their own communities. Description of Program: The BSDH degree completion program targets dental hygienists who want to earn their B.S. degree in dental hygiene from home. To receive your B.S. degree, you must earn at least 30 hours through NAU, of which at least 18 must be at or above the 300 level. In addition, at least 30 hours of the total coursework you use for your degree, must be at or above the 300 level.

Description of Program: Students will be accepted to the program each term. Courses will only be delivered online in a modmester(short) term. Each course will last six to eight weeks. Students can participate anytime of the day or night but will be required to participate about five days per week. Students take one course at a time. Approximately one week after one course is finished the next will begin.
