Maureen Titus, RDHAP, BA and Lisa Klockenteger, RDHAP Receive the Sunstar Butler/RDH Magazine 2006 Award of Distinction

Lisa Klockenteger RDHAP and Maureen Titus, RDHAP, BA, were among eight dental hygienists who were honored to receive the Sunstar Butler RDH Magazine Awards of Distinction at the recent RDH Under One Roof conference held in Las Vegas.

Lisa and Maureen were recognized for their commitments to underserved populations in their work as RDHAPs. Lisa owns a free-standing dental hygiene practice serving primarily low income and handicapped patients while Maureen’s new practice, “Coast Smiles on Wheels” provides oral hygiene services to the homebound and skilled nursing facility residents.

Outside of dental hygiene, Maureen serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children within the court system. Both Maureen and Lisa are members of the Central Coast Component.
